Getting
involved

We rely on the generosity of our community and donors to cover the costs for Camp Jabberwocky. At its core, Camp Jabberwocky is a community that lives on thanks to the generosity and kindness of those around us!

We’re committed to
being tuition‑free for all

To run Jabberwocky, it costs about $1,500 a week per camper for Summer Camp and $1,000 per family for Family Camp.

Inheritance and legacy gifts

A powerful way to love and support Camp Jabberwocky for years to come is to consider a bequest. A bequest is a gift to Jabberwocky that is included in your estate plans, to be given to Camp Jabberwocky at a later date. You can make a bequest to Jabberwocky by including language in your will or living trust, leaving a portion of your estate to Camp Jabberwocky, or by designating Camp Jabberwocky as a beneficiary of your retirement account or life insurance policy.

We are happy to talk to you about how and where your bequests can be used, but the two most impactful ways would be to bequest funds for general operations for our programs, or to give towards our endowment. A gift towards our endowment would help Jabberwocky run its programs and share its mission in perpetuity.

If you are interested in including Camp Jabberwocky as a beneficiary, please consult with an attorney or professional advisor for the best way to do so. The following language may be helpful in drafting a bequest to Camp Jabberwocky:

I give to Martha’s Vineyard Cerebral Palsy Camp, Inc. (aka Camp Jabberwocky) with Federal Identification Number: 23-7188764 the sum of $ _______ (or ___ percent of my estate) to be used for its general purposes (or the endowment or a specific program we offer).

If you choose to give this incredible, lasting gift to Camp Jabberwocky, please let us know so we are able to thank you and honor your dedication and love for Camp Jabberwocky! You may contact Kelsey Cosby at kelsey@campjabberwocky.org or Liza Gallagher at info@campjabberwocky.org.
